Description
The Collier County Board of County Commissioners Procurement Services Division is seeking proposals from qualified consultants to provide Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) services for the Transmission Water Main Improvements project along Vanderbilt Beach Road and Airport Pulling Road. The project involves replacing existing water main pipelines, water service connections, and road crossings, and adjusting existing utilities to accommodate the new water main pipelines. The selected consultant will be responsible for providing full-time construction observation and documentation, construction inspection, and project oversight services. Key responsibilities include conducting on-site observations and inspections, preparing daily work reports, and coordinating with the contractor, engineer of record, and county staff.
• The project is anticipated to be divided into three construction phases.
• The contract term is expected to be approximately 4 years.
• The consultant will be required to attend weekly progress meetings and provide monthly construction summary reports.
• The county reserves the right to modify the scope of work during negotiations for budgetary reasons.
