Perdido Landfill & Palafox Transfer Stations Scale Maintenance- Re-solicit

Escambia County Waste Services is seeking a contractor to provide annual maintenance and repair services for truck scales at the Perdido Landfill and Palafox Transfer Station. The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all labor, supervision, equipment, materials, parts, tools, transportation, and other resources necessary to inspect, calibrate, maintain, and repair the truck scales. The contractor must maintain a physical office within 300 miles of the Perdido Landfill and be capable of responding to emergency service requests within 4-6 hours. • The scope of work includes preventive maintenance services, emergency repair services, and non-emergency maintenance and repair services. • The contractor must comply with the requirements of the Florida Weights and Measures Law and the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Handbook 44. • The contract term is 36 months, with the option to renew for two additional 12-month periods. • The contractor must provide a written quotation for any repairs, including diagnosis, cost of replacement parts, travel charges, hourly labor rates, and mobilization charges. • The contractor must also provide certificates of insurance, including workers' compensation, general liability, and business auto liability coverage.
