Civil Engineering Services Continuing Contract

The City of Fort Myers is seeking qualified professionals to provide civil engineering services on an as-needed basis under a continuing contract. The selected consultant(s) will furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary to perform professional services. The scope of work includes transportation infrastructure, stormwater and drainage, utilities and public infrastructure, site development and municipal facilities, planning and studies, design and permitting, and construction support services. The city is looking for consultants with experience and capabilities to perform the scope of work, academic and licensed credentials, and a proven track record of successful projects. Some key services that will be required include: • Roadway design, resurfacing, rehabilitation, and reconstruction • Stormwater system design, rehabilitation, and retrofits • Utility extensions and relocations • Grading, paving, and drainage design • Preparation of complete construction drawings and technical specifications • Construction administration and management support The city will evaluate the proposals based on factors such as approach to the project, experience and qualifications of the firm and assigned personnel, compliance with minority business enterprise policy, and local vendor preference.
