Bus Shelters Installation Services

The City of El Paso is seeking a contractor to provide bus shelter installation services. The contractor will be responsible for installing, removing, and relocating bus shelters, as well as performing other related tasks. The contract is expected to last for one year, with the possibility of renewal. The contractor will be required to provide all necessary labor, equipment, and materials to complete the work. • The scope of work includes shelter installs, removals, replacement, relocation, assemble-disassemble parts, mount-dismount from concrete, anchoring, heavy lifting, transportation, trailer loading and off-loading, storage and safeguarding at contractor’s property, curb painting, and other services related to transit bus shelters. • The contractor will be required to have experience in loading and off-loading heavy equipment with forklift or crane. • The contractor will be required to have employees certified for the type of forklift or crane being used. • The contractor will be required to provide traffic control measures where applicable. • The contractor will be required to inspect sites for needed work and staging areas, offloading and loading areas, rail proximity, etc. • The contractor will be required to provide a Master Report and Inventory Report to Sun Metro.
