Fire and Security Monitoring

The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking vendor input on a requirement for fire and security monitoring services at the Quantico Information Technology Center. The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, travel, parts, and supervision for full maintenance, repairs, and emergency service on the fire alarm, suppression systems, and security system. The contractor must test, inspect, and monitor the Fire, Suppression System, and Security Systems, including security monitoring panels, access keypads, door sensors, motion sensors, and locking mechanisms. Key aspects of the job include: • Providing 24/7 emergency services • Performing annual and semi-annual testing and maintenance • Including all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and travel in the contract • Covering all components of the systems under the Performance Work Statement (PWS) • Ensuring accuracy of device counts within 1-2 devices of the actual count • Providing rough order of magnitude (ROM) pricing estimates • Identifying recommended NAICS code(s) and contract vehicles
