The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) is seeking a contractor to provide Parenting Time Visitation Support Services (PTVSS) in Gladwin County. The goal of PTVSS is to reduce the risk of abuse and neglect and prevent out-of-home placement. The services will be provided to families with children who are at risk of harm, including those with active CPS investigations or open cases, and those who have been removed from their homes and placed with non-offending parents. The contractor will provide supervised parenting time and visitation services to these families.
• The services will be funded by CFSSP and SFSC.
• The contractor will provide services to children who remain living in the home if supervised parenting time is court-ordered for a parent who has been ordered out of the home.
• PAFC supervised children are eligible for PTVSS services, but referrals must go through MDHHS.
• The contractor will work with MDHHS to provide services to eligible families.
