LSUS Plumbing & Mechanical Services - Term Contract

The Louisiana State University in Shreveport (LSUS) is seeking a term contract for plumbing and mechanical services. The contract will provide supplemental labor hours for maintenance and repairs of mechanical and plumbing equipment on the LSUS campus. The supplier will be required to provide journeymen and helpers on an as-needed basis, and the LSUS Facility Services Administration will provide supervision for the work. The contract will be for a period of one year, with the option to renew for an additional year. • The supplier must be a licensed commercial contractor in the state of Louisiana with classifications of mechanical and plumbing. • The supplier must provide a certificate of insurance evidencing required coverages and naming the Board of Supervisors of Louisiana State University and Agricultural and Mechanical College as an additional insured on all liability policies. • The supplier must provide hourly rates for each journeyman and helper, as well as rates for overtime, weekend, and holiday work. • The supplier must be able to respond to emergency service calls within two hours, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
