Fire Hose Inspections and Testing

The City of Santa Clara is soliciting quotes from qualified vendors to provide annual inspection and testing services for fire hoses in accordance with the 2018 National Fire Protection Association 1962 Standard. The services will be provided at City Fire Stations throughout Santa Clara, CA. The contract will be for an initial 12-month period with four optional one-year extensions. The City will issue a purchase order to the successful bidder, and pricing shall be firm fixed for the initial term. • The contractor will provide labor, equipment, supervision, and other necessary services for the inspection and testing of fire hoses. • The contractor must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards. • The City reserves the right to exercise four additional one-year period extensions for a total of five years. • The City may designate incomplete quotes as non-responsive. • The City may award by line item, lot, or overall lowest cost.
