Description
Johnston County Public Schools is seeking proposals for qualified companies to provide Fire and Life Safety services, including annual fire alarm panel and device testing, annual sprinkler testing, bi-annual sprinkler backflow and riser testing, and more. The selected contractor will be responsible for performing these services at various school and administrative sites within Johnston County Public Schools. The contract is expected to commence on May 1, 2026, and last for five years.
• The contract will require the contractor to perform various fire and life safety services, including testing and repair of fire alarm systems, sprinkler systems, and other equipment.
• The contractor will be responsible for ensuring that all work is performed in compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including those related to fire safety and environmental protection.
• The contractor will be required to provide written documentation verifying that services have been performed within 30 days of completion.
• The contractor will be responsible for correcting any deficiencies or defects in the work within a reasonable timeframe.
