H165--FY26 - Annual Calibration of the Hospital's Survey Meters (B+4)

The VA New York Harbor Healthcare System is seeking a contractor to perform the annual calibration of the hospital's survey meters. The contractor will be responsible for calibrating 14 handheld survey meters and 3 area monitors, as well as providing a certificate of calibration. The calibration must be performed in accordance with Nuclear Regulatory Commission requirements. The contractor must travel to the hospital one time for calibration and must provide battery replacement for the instruments. The key objectives of the Radiation Safety Program are to maintain radiation exposures as low as reasonably achievable, control the possession and use of radioactive materials, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws. • The contractor must calibrate the survey meters and area monitors annually. • The calibration must be performed in accordance with NRC requirements. • The contractor must provide a certificate of calibration. • The contractor must travel to the hospital one time for calibration. • The contractor must provide battery replacement for the instruments.
