The Colorado Department of Public Safety, Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management (CDPS-DHSEM) is seeking to renew its contract with Midwest Card & ID Solutions for the provision of credentialing software, asset inventory software, evacuation software, and C&R software. The contract will cover the period from January 1, 2026, to December 31, 2028. The software is used to manage assets, credential individuals, monitor and track equipment, and provide command, control, and check-in on incidents and emergency disasters. The sole source justification is based on the fact that Midwest Card & ID Solutions is the only company that can provide the patented system that meets the needs of Colorado's credentialing program.
• The software includes Salamander Live Credentialing and training, track app mobile application, inventory application for asset management, and Rapid Tag software.
• The system is used by 1,500 users and credentialed individuals in Colorado.
• The software is patent-approved and provides a standard credential that meets federal standards.
• The system is supported nationally and is considered the credentialing standard across the country.
