FIRE EXTINGUISHER AND FIRE HOSE MAINTENANCE SERVICES

The contract is for fire extinguisher and fire hose maintenance services for various departments and agencies within the County of Orange. The contractor, Majestic Fire Inc dba Kord Fire Protection, will provide these services at various locations, including OC Public Works, OC Fleet Services, OC Environmental Resources, and John Wayne Airport. The contract has a term of three years, with an option to renew for two years. The total contract value is not to exceed $1,053,000.00. Some key points of the contract include: * The contractor must provide fire extinguishers, fire hoses, and related services to various departments and agencies within the County of Orange. * The contractor must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to civil rights and non-discrimination. * The contractor must provide training materials and other information related to Title VI Civil Rights to its staff as specified by the County. * The contractor must develop, implement, and submit to the Airport Director for approval a fleet-wide anti-idling policy within six months of contract execution. * The contractor must provide an invoice on the contractor’s letterhead for goods delivered and/or services rendered, including all required information such as contractor’s name and address, delivery/service address, and product/service description, quantity, and prices.
