Williamson County Schools (WCS) solicited proposals to provide comprehensive outsourced custodial services for all district schools and ancillary facilities in Tennessee. The contract is divided into two geographic zones (North and South) covering roughly 5.9 million square feet of cleanable space. Services include daily cleaning of classrooms, restrooms, hallways, gyms, cafeterias, and other areas; day‑porter and night‑foreman staffing; deep‑cleaning after events; VCT floor maintenance; snow/ice removal; dumpster management; and provision of all consumables and equipment. The award is split between two vendors (ABM and HES), each responsible for one zone. Proposals required a 5 % bid bond, and the successful contractors must furnish a 50 % performance‑bond, insurance, and meet wage minimums ($12/hr for staff, $16/hr for lead night foremen). The initial contract term is 11 months (July 1 2021 – May 31 2022) with up to five optional one‑year renewals.
