Finance: General Public Finance Legal Services - Stradling

This contract is for general public finance legal services to be provided by Stradling Yocca Carlson & Rauth to the County of Orange. The contract has a term of three years, from April 11, 2023, to April 10, 2026, and may be renewed for an additional two-year term upon mutual agreement. The contractor will provide services such as responding to questions, interpreting documents, and representing the County in connection with debt obligations. The contract includes a scope of work, compensation and payment terms, and requirements for insurance, confidentiality, and compliance with laws. The key services to be provided under this contract include: • Responding to questions from the County and interpreting outstanding documents and agreements • Representing the County or related entity in connection with any agreement securing or otherwise related to debt obligations • Providing customary bond counsel and/or disclosure counsel and or tax counsel services in connection with particular financings of the County or a related entity • Rendering customary legal opinions and preparing closing transcripts • Providing any additional services related to matters not otherwise covered by the Contract and specifically requested in writing by the CEO Budget & Finance Director or Finance Team Lead.
