Residential Franchise Agreement

The Residential Franchise Agreement is a contract between Hernando County and Republic Services of Florida LP for the provision of residential waste collection services. The contract includes terms and conditions for the collection of garbage, yard trash, and recycling materials, as well as provisions for customer service and complaint handling. The contract has a duration of 14 years and includes provisions for annual adjustments to rates and fees. The contract also includes requirements for the contractor to establish a process for receiving and handling emergency calls and to maintain a customer service ombudsman.
