Garnet and GO Transit Program

The Garnet and GO Transit Program is a contract between the Bay County Public Transit System and the Florida State University Board of Trustees for the provision of free rides on fixed route buses for students and staff of the university. The contract commenced on July 1, 2024, and will terminate on June 30, 2025. The program allows eligible participants to ride on all fixed route buses operating under the name Bayway, and the university is responsible for promoting and marketing the program to its students. The contract also includes provisions for data protection and security, as well as indemnification in case of a security or privacy breach.
