Description
The City of Vancouver has awarded a contract to ACE Parking to operate the Vancouver Center Park 'n Go Garage. The contract requires ACE Parking to provide facility management, security, and customer services, as well as manage and oversee certain garage functions. The contract has a term of 5 years, from December 1, 2024, to November 30, 2029, and has a maximum compensation of $300,000.00 USD. The contract also requires ACE Parking to obtain and maintain various insurance policies, including liability insurance and workers' compensation insurance. Some key points of the contract include:
* The Contractor shall both provide all facility management, security, and customer services at the facility, and manage/oversee such services as specified in the Solicitation.
* The City expects the parking facility maintenance operations to be done in accordance with industry best practices.
* The Contractor will prepare and submit an Annual Operating Budget for the parking facility prior to the beginning of each calendar year.
* The Contractor will be responsible for paying all management and security operating expenses which the Contractor provides directly under contract.
* The City will reimburse Contractor for these costs including, but not limited to, items identified in the Solicitation and a negotiated monthly management fee.
• The contract has a fixed cost proposal for all personnel requirements and any other applicable costs associated with the services to be provided.
• The contract includes a management agreement, under which all revenues belong to the City, and the City pays ACE a monthly fee plus operating expenses.
• The contract includes a 6-month fee waiver for ACE's management fee.
• The contract requires ACE to obtain and maintain various insurance policies, including liability insurance and workers' compensation insurance.
