Fire Extinguisher Inspections / Recharges

The County of Lehigh is soliciting quotes from firms to provide inspections, recharges, hydrotesting, parts, and replacement units for approximately 815 various styles of fire extinguishers located at twenty five separate locations within the County. The contract was awarded to Anchor Fire Protection and Peifers Fire Protection. The scope of work includes monthly inspections, recharges, and hydrotesting of fire extinguishers, as well as replacement of parts and units. • The contract includes a total of 815 fire extinguishers to be inspected and maintained. • The contract includes various types of fire extinguishers, including dry chemical, carbon dioxide, and pressurized water. • The contract includes a monthly inspection and maintenance schedule. • The contract includes a 12-month period. • The contract has a grand total value of $68,583.00 for Anchor Fire Protection and $37,445.00 for Peifers Fire Protection.
