Large Scale Event Staffing Services

This contract is for large scale event staffing services, including temporary staffing and related logistical and other services, to be provided by Elevate Staffing Inc to the County of Orange. The contract has a term of 5 years, starting from July 8, 2022, and ending on July 7, 2027. The scope of work includes providing staffing services on an as-needed basis, with varying locations and service hours. The contractor is responsible for obtaining sufficient information from the requesting department, maintaining confidentiality, and ensuring that its employees maintain confidentiality of all County records and information. The County is responsible for providing sufficient information regarding duties and responsibilities, ensuring each employee is performing assigned duties to the County's satisfaction, and being the sole judge of satisfactory performance. The contract includes provisions for payment, compensation, and reimbursement, as well as requirements for insurance, subcontracting, and compliance with laws and regulations. Some key points include: • The contractor must be available 24 hours a day and capable of serving north, south, and central Orange County. • Employees must pass background or other required clearances as may be required per specific large event. • The contractor must arrange to provide contractor employees with some form of communication device/equipment, such as mobile phones, to allow contractor employees to correspond with County departments when necessary. • The contractor will handle all W2, tax requirements, and payroll. • The contractor will provide various logistics as required per specific large event, including but not limited to vehicle/equipment rental, warehouse/inventory management, etc. • The County and contractor may negotiate other payment terms per independent scope as needed.
