Heavy Duty Vehicle Towing

The City of Pasadena is seeking a qualified vendor to provide Heavy Duty Vehicle Towing on an as-needed basis for City-owned equipment. The contract term is for five years. The City manages a fleet of approximately 200 heavy-duty vehicles and regularly requires towing services to transport vehicles and equipment over 10,000 lbs. Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) to and from City facilities and various locations across Southern California. • The vendor must possess and provide the required licenses and certifications, including a Class A or Class C California Driver's License and a California Tow Truck Association Certificate. • The vendor must provide a bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid price in the form of a redeemable or callable electronic surety bond. • The vendor must submit all required documents and forms, including a completed Form AA-1 and a Declaration of Non-Collusion. • The vendor must comply with the City's ordinances and regulations, including the Equal Employment Opportunity and Living Wage Ordinance.
