The Missouri Department of Corrections is seeking a vendor to provide, install, and maintain vending machines at the Crossroads Correctional Center (CRCC) for a one‑year period (Dec 1 2026 – Nov 30 2027). The contractor must supply a variety of snack, beverage, and cold‑food machines, ensure NSF‑approved equipment, accept cash and credit/debit cards, provide Energy‑Star or energy‑conserving devices, stock condiments, and maintain a 1‑day repair response. Sales are grossed at an estimated $16,000 per month, with a firm‑fixed commission rate payable monthly. The contract includes optional renewal for up to two additional 12‑month periods. Vendors may tour the facility (by appointment) but it is not mandatory.
• Provide and maintain all vending equipment listed in Attachment 1 (snack, beverage, cold‑food, change machines, microwaves, picture‑block machine, condiment carts).
• Ensure machines are new/first‑class, NSF‑approved, Energy‑Star rated (or equipped with a vending‑miser), and accept cash, coins, and credit/debit cards (processing fee allowed).
• Stock approved products (Attachment 2) and up to two “Vendor’s Choice” slots per snack machine.
• Deliver and restock six days per week; coordinate delivery times with the Business Manager.
• Maintain detailed sales and counter reports; remit monthly commission payments (60 % to Canteen Fund, 40 % to Personnel Club for visitor‑room machines; 100 % to Personnel Club for staff‑only machines).
• Provide 1‑day on‑site repair response; retain all records for five years; comply with all security, tax, licensing, and background‑check requirements.
• Contract period: Dec 1 2026 – Nov 30 2027 with possible two 12‑month renewals.
• Bids due electronically by 2:00 p.m., Sep 16 2026.
