Gwinnett County’s Department of Water Resources is seeking a vendor to deliver a complete, cloud‑based Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) on a multi‑year contract. The solution must replace the existing on‑premises LIMS, support full laboratory and field operations, integrate with a variety of instruments and external systems (Hach WIMS, ArcGIS, CentralSquare EAM), and provide end‑to‑end services including installation, data migration, training, warranties, and ongoing support. The vendor must demonstrate compliance with stringent security standards (SOC 2 Type II, SSO/MFA, AES‑256 encryption) and meet performance expectations (99.9 % uptime, 12‑hour RTO, 4‑hour RPO). The contract will run up to five years with automatic annual renewal and requires the implementation to be completed within one year of contract start.
• Deliver a turnkey LIMS SaaS platform covering software, hosting, installation, warranties, and support.
• Migrate historic data from the current Sample Master system and configure instrument parsers for 13 listed lab instruments.
• Provide comprehensive training, documentation, and a dedicated project manager to oversee a one‑year implementation schedule.
• Ensure integration with GIS, Hach WIMS, CentralSquare EAM, and support mobile field data entry (up to five simultaneous users).
• Maintain strict security and data‑ownership provisions, including SOC 2 certification, SSO/MFA, and U.S.–based data storage.
