Description

The Washington County Disability, Aging and Veteran Services (DAVS) is seeking service providers to deliver group Evidence-Based Health Promotion classes supporting unpaid family and friend caregivers of older adults. The classes should be provided in an accessible, confidential, and welcoming space. The service provider will be responsible for marketing, outreach, registration, and collection of demographic information. The goal of the program is to support unpaid caregivers in improving their well-being and providing care for their care partner at home for as long as possible. Some key points to consider: • The service provider should have staff or volunteers with active certification in a group evidence-based program that supports unpaid family and friend caregivers. • The service provider should have insurance that meets Washington County standards. • The service provider should be able to complete classes by June 30, 2026. • Funding is available up to a maximum of $2500 per program, subject to adequate cost justification. • A match requirement is required for all contractors, with a matching ratio of 75% OAA-25% local resources and/or in-kind.

Budget estimate

$2,000 – $3,000

The budget for this opportunity is estimated to be around $2500 per program, with a maximum funding available. The actual budget may vary depending on the cost justification provided by the service provider. The matching requirement of 75% OAA-25% local resources and/or in-kind may also affect the budget. Considering these factors, the estimated budget range could be between $2000 and $3000.
