Seeking a Program Manager for Lead Infrastructure Capacity-Building Project

The County of Ontario is seeking a non-profit organization to hire and manage a Program Manager for its 2026-2029 Lead Infrastructure Capacity-Building Project. The project aims to enhance the county's capacity to address lead exposure and improve public health outcomes. The selected organization will be responsible for hiring a Program Manager, managing the project, and ensuring compliance with grant requirements. The Program Manager will oversee the implementation of the project, coordinate with local, state, and federal agencies, and develop and manage project budgets. Key responsibilities include: • Hiring a Program Manager with a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Environmental Health, or a related field, and at least 5 years of experience in public health programming • Managing the Program Manager and ensuring compliance with grant requirements • Coordinating with local, state, and federal agencies to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards • Developing and managing project budgets, ensuring all expenditures are in line with grant requirements • Preparing and submitting regular reports to funding agencies and stakeholders • Conducting community outreach and education activities to raise awareness about lead exposure and prevention The project will commence on June 30, 2026, and conclude on May 31, 2029. The selected organization will be required to provide quarterly progress reports and maintain open lines of communication with all project stakeholders.
