Description
The State of California’s Department of General Services (Office of State Publishing) is seeking a qualified contractor to provide comprehensive uniform rental, laundering, and specialty‑item services for seven OSP facilities. The contractor must deliver new uniforms weekly, collect and launder them, supply specialty items (towels, mats, mop heads, buckets, filter bags), and manage inventory logs, all while meeting NFPA 70E safety standards and providing lockable storage at each site. The contract is for a three‑year period with a built‑in 10 % replacement allowance for lost or damaged items.
• Provide new, clean, NFPA 70E‑compliant uniforms (shirts, pants, sweaters, polos) and replace only damaged items.
• Supply and weekly rotate specialty items (industrial towels, floor mats, mop heads, buckets, filter bags) on a rental basis.
• Perform weekly pickup/delivery at seven Sacramento‑area locations, maintain inventory logs, and submit weekly statements.
• Meet insurance, DVBE, small‑business, sanctions, and GenAI disclosure requirements; all bids must be sealed hard‑copy submissions by 2 p.m. on 1 Sept 2026.
