School Food Service Program

The Seekonk Public Schools are seeking a Food Service Management Company (FSMC) to manage and operate their school food service program. The program includes the National School Lunch Program, School Breakfast Program, Special Milk Program, and A la Carte Food. The FSMC will be responsible for menus, purchasing, receiving, storing, setting up cafeteria lines, counter service, cleanup, sanitation, training, hiring, and supervising personnel. The contract will be a Cost-Reimbursable contract with a fixed fee. Key aspects of the job include: • Managing and operating the school food service program • Providing menus, purchasing, and receiving food and supplies • Setting up cafeteria lines, counter service, and cleanup • Training, hiring, and supervising personnel • Ensuring sanitation and safety standards are met • Providing nutrition education and awareness programs • Managing finances, accounting, and reporting systems
