RFP-DV-2026-019 — Construction Management Services for Solar PV Project

The City of New Rochelle is seeking a qualified firm to provide construction management services for the New Rochelle Transit Center Garage – Photovoltaic (Solar) System project. The selected firm will administer construction contracts on the City's behalf, including site inspections, review of test results and payment applications, RFI management, change order review and negotiation, scheduling oversight, and related CM and incentive-documentation support services. The project is expected to result in an array generating approximately 500kW DC. The key responsibilities of the construction manager include: • Providing construction administration and management services • Administering construction contracts • Conducting site inspections • Reviewing test results and payment applications • Managing RFIs and change orders • Coordinating with the City's Department of Development • Tracking progress and providing daily reports • Coordinating with Con Edison and other utilities • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and building codes The City is looking for a firm with experience in municipal construction management, particularly in solar or renewable energy projects. The firm should have a strong understanding of the project's goals and objectives, as well as the ability to manage complex construction projects.
