Description
The Shelby County Board of Education (SCBE) is seeking a vendor to supply fully processed library books and a range of audiovisual materials for the 2026‑27 school year, with two optional renewal years. The vendor must handle all cataloging, bar‑coding, MARC record creation, and provide an online portal for order management. Pricing must be submitted as fixed percentage discounts for each contract year, and delivery must occur within 45 days of purchase order receipt in no more than two shipments.
• Provide hard‑back library books (or specified bindings) processed to SCBE specifications, including barcode labels and MARC records.
• Supply audio books, eBooks, CDs, DVDs, and MP3 files with the same discount structure as the books.
• Maintain an internet portal that allows SCBE staff to build, export, and import material lists compatible with APCES software.
• Meet a 45‑day fulfillment window, limit shipments to two per order, and ensure the final shipment arrives by 14 May 2027 for the first year.
