Plumbing and Related Services, Continuing Services

Leon County is seeking the services of qualified vendors to provide various types of plumbing work on a continual service basis. The successful vendor must be able to inspect and certify backflow preventers, maintain scale pit clean-outs, and perform other related plumbing services. The contractor must have backflow certification recognized by the City of Tallahassee and Talquin Water. The county will award agreements to multiple bidders or in a fashion best suited to serve Leon County. Some key points to consider: • The contractor must be a licensed plumbing contractor with backflow certification. • The contractor must be able to provide all labor, tools, management, materials, transportation, equipment, parts, and supplies necessary to furnish services. • The contractor must be able to respond to emergency service calls within four hours. • The contractor must be able to provide a firm-fixed lump sum amount for each project. • The contractor must be able to provide proof of insurance and comply with all safety standards.
