Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection Design and Support Engineering Services Continuing Contract

The City of Fort Myers is seeking qualified engineering firms to provide Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection design and support services on an as-needed basis. The selected firms will be required to provide comprehensive engineering services for new construction, renovation, retrofits, repairs, and expansions of public facilities and infrastructure. The scope of work includes HVAC system design, electrical distribution, plumbing engineering, fire protection engineering, and more. The City is looking for firms with experience in providing similar services, a strong understanding of the project scope, and the ability to balance staffing needs and facilitate timely completion of the project. • The contract will be awarded based on the evaluation criteria, which includes approach to the project, experience of the firm and qualifications of assigned personnel, compliance with minority business enterprise policy, and local vendor preference. • The City reserves the right to reject any or all submissions and to waive irregularities or technicalities. • The contract will be for a continuing period, with individual task orders issued by the City. • The City is committed to providing exceptional municipal services to residents, businesses, and visitors in a fiscally responsible manner while preserving the City's rich history, diverse culture, and charming lifestyle.
