Description
The California Franchise Tax Board is seeking qualified vendors to provide on‑as‑needed freight shipping and delivery services for items weighing 150 lb or more. The contractor will be responsible for loading, transporting, and unloading freight between numerous FTB locations nationwide, delivering within five calendar days of a scheduled pickup, and complying with prevailing‑wage, insurance, and licensing requirements.
• Minimum shipment weight 150 lb; no maximum weight limit.
• Requires lift‑gate‑capable, enclosed vehicles and drivers with valid Class A Commercial Driver’s Licenses and a California Motor Carrier Permit.
• Pricing is on a per‑mile “Base Rate” plus a fuel‑surcharge; bids must remain firm for 45 days.
• Service area includes dozens of FTB offices (CA, NY, IL, TX, etc.) with contract term roughly June 2026 – July 2027.
