Engineering Services for Terminal Electrification at TraPac within the Port of Los Angeles

TraPac, LLC is seeking proposals from qualified professional architectural and engineering firms to provide design engineering, project management, construction bid package preparation, and construction management services for the terminal electrification project at the Port of Los Angeles. The project includes the deployment of up to 120 battery-electric yard tractors, up to 4 battery-electric top handlers, installation of up to 55 chargers, and installation of battery storage and solar panels. The selected firm will work with TraPac, the Port of Los Angeles, and other consultants to ensure compliance with EPA grant requirements and other regulations. • The project is expected to be completed by the end of September 2028. • The selected firm will provide ongoing project management, coordination, and communication with TraPac and other project partners. • The firm will complete all architectural, geotechnical, civil, structural, mechanical, electrical design and engineering work necessary to deliver the project. • The firm will ensure that the construction bid package adheres to all requirements laid forth in the RFP and applicable laws and regulations.
