The U.S. Army Portfolio Acquisition Executive Maneuver Air G4 is conducting market research to identify industry sources capable of delivering a platform‑agnostic, modular, open‑architecture Health and Usage Monitoring System (HUMS) for rotary‑wing, fixed‑wing, ground, and maritime platforms. The goal is to replace legacy, OEM‑locked HUMS solutions with a Modular Open Systems Approach (MOSA) that supports Condition‑Based Maintenance Plus (CBM+) across mixed fleets. The system must conform to multiple DoD and industry standards (FACE™, SAE JA6268, DDS, SAE AS7140, ADS‑79E‑HDBK) and provide end‑to‑end data security, government data ownership, and open‑format export.
