911 Fee Collection Services

The Kansas State 911 Board is seeking a qualified vendor to provide 911 fee collection services. The selected vendor will be responsible for managing the collection, reconciliation, and transfer of 911 fees remitted by Telecommunications Service Providers (TSPs). The scope of work includes maintaining and updating the TSP master registry, processing multi-channel deposits, and providing reporting and accounting deliverables. The vendor must also comply with various requirements, including providing a financial guarantee, maintaining data residency on U.S.-based servers, and ensuring cybersecurity and professional standards. Key aspects of the job include: • Maintaining and updating the TSP master registry • Processing multi-channel deposits, including ACH credit, ACH debit, and paper checks • Providing reporting and accounting deliverables, including a remittance and collection report • Complying with various requirements, including providing a financial guarantee and maintaining data residency on U.S.-based servers • Ensuring cybersecurity and professional standards, including providing a transition plan and complying with the Kansas Act Against Discrimination.
