Description
The State of Louisiana is seeking bids for a service contract to provide storage tanks and medical oxygen fill services for the Louisiana Department of Veterans Affairs - Southwest Louisiana War Veterans Home. The contract will be for an initial period of approximately 12 months, with the option to renew for two additional 12-month periods at the same prices, terms, and conditions. The total contract time will not exceed 36 months. The contractor will be responsible for providing proper maintenance, upkeep of appearance, annual cleaning, inspections, and service or replacement of stickers for the bulk tank at least once every 12 months at the vendor's expense.
• The contractor must provide medical oxygen fill services, with a current usage estimated between 900 and 1500 gallons per month.
• The contractor must provide a medical compliance charge per month.
• The contractor must work with the Maintenance Manager to ensure a smooth changeover and void interruption of services.
• The contractor must contact the Maintenance Manager when scheduling the cleaning and maintenance of the tank.
• The contractor must check tanks for refills either by satellite or remotely reading tanks.
