Audio Video System Replacements at MetroLINK Locations

The Rock Island County Metropolitan Mass Transit District (MetroLINK) is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide a turnkey solution for the replacement and upgrade of outdated audiovisual equipment and systems at three MetroLINK facilities: Centre Station Banquet Room, MetroLINK Administrative Office Boardroom, and Operations and Maintenance Center. The selected vendor will be responsible for assessing existing audiovisual equipment, designing and installing new systems, and providing training and support. The proposed AV solutions must meet or exceed current industry standards and include features such as high-definition video and professional-grade audio, compatibility with common video conferencing platforms, and accessibility features for individuals with hearing impairments. • The project includes three locations with different audiovisual needs and requirements. • The vendor must provide a detailed description of its approach to system design, installation, integration, testing, and commissioning. • The vendor must provide a comprehensive testing plan, conduct comprehensive testing, and provide comprehensive training for designated staff. • The vendor must ensure that all proposed equipment remains under active manufacturer support for at least five years from the date of system acceptance.
