Description
Morgan State University is seeking bids for fire and life safety inspection, testing, and maintenance services on its campus. The contract will be for a period of 120 days, with the option to renew. The successful bidder will be required to provide inspection, testing, and maintenance services for fire and life safety systems, including fire alarm systems, sprinkler systems, and fire extinguishers. The bidder will also be required to provide a schedule of values, certificates of insurance, and other documentation as specified in the contract.
• The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
• The bidder will be required to provide firm unit prices for additional inspection, testing, and maintenance tasks.
• The bidder will be required to provide labor rates for all labor categories necessary to accomplish the scope of work.
• The bidder will be required to provide an annual parts and materials allowance to support authorized repairs and corrective work.
• The contract will be subject to the terms and conditions of the Morgan State University Standard Contract.
