Erie County’s Department of Social Services is seeking a qualified nonprofit organization to provide after‑hours emergency foster‑care placements for children ages 0‑21 when removals occur outside normal business hours. The contractor must maintain a roster of certified emergency foster homes, operate a real‑time “bed‑tracker” system, provide a 24/7 liaison, and deliver trauma‑informed, culturally‑sensitive care. The contract is funded at up to $124,500 for FY 2027, with administrative costs capped at 15 % and reimbursement on a monthly basis.
