Arkansas Northeastern College is seeking a qualified independent contractor to operate its campus bookstore for an initial five‑year term, with optional one‑year extensions up to five additional years. The contractor will run the bookstore as an independent business, handling all management functions, inventory, sales of textbooks (new, used, digital), apparel, technology, and general merchandise, and must meet a minimum 30 % used‑textbook sales target. The award includes a $250,000 performance bond, extensive insurance requirements, and the need to purchase the incumbent’s inventory within 30 days of completion.
