Description
The Massachusetts Port Authority is seeking bids for the rehabilitation of Taxiway B East and South at Logan International Airport in East Boston, Massachusetts. The work includes pavement milling, hot mix asphalt paving, crack sealing and repair, semi-flush light base adjustments, taxiway light base and conduit installation, pavement markings, utility structure adjustments, and lighting cable replacement. The estimated contract cost is $21,000,000.
• The project requires a proposal guaranty of 5% of the bid value.
• The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond and a labor and materials payment bond, each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price.
• The contractor will be required to pay minimum wages in accordance with the schedules listed in Division II, Special Provisions of the Specifications.
• The contractor will be required to purchase and maintain bodily injury liability insurance and property damage liability insurance for a combined single limit of $10,000,000.
