Description
The Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools (MNPS) is seeking a qualified contractor to provide district‑wide fire alarm inspection, testing, certification, and reporting services for all school facilities. The work must comply with NFPA 72 and local regulations, covering a comprehensive list of fire‑alarm components and auxiliary systems, with rapid notification of any deficiencies and detailed reporting within tight timeframes.
• Inspect, test, and certify fire alarm control panels, voice‑EVAC, detectors, switches, alarms, strobes, speakers, batteries, elevator shunts, and related suppression equipment across the entire MNPS district.
• Provide on‑site field reports and a formal inspection & testing report within 48 hours of each test, and issue yellow‑tag (12‑hour) and red‑tag (2‑hour) notifications for identified issues.
• Deliver all labor, tools, transportation, and incidentals; coordinate with MNPS staff and the Nashville Fire Department; and meet stringent service‑level response times.
