Description
The Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners is seeking a qualified vendor to supply a full line of public‑safety uniforms for its Corrections, Fire & Emergency Services, Police, and Sheriff’s departments. The contract covers design‑specific uniforms (shirts, jackets, trousers, caps, high‑visibility gear, etc.) with custom embroidery, patches, and on‑site fitting services. Pricing must be firm for a one‑year base period with up to four optional one‑year renewals. The vendor must meet extensive insurance and E‑Verify requirements and provide a sealed, physical bid package by the deadline.
• Supplies ~150 distinct uniform items (performance fabrics, rain gear, high‑visibility apparel, etc.) with county‑provided graphics and patches.
• Requires on‑site fittings twice per year, maintenance of fit records, and prompt notification of back‑orders.
• Vendor must carry $2 M CGL, $1 M auto liability, workers’ comp, umbrella/excess coverage, and meet A‑7 or better A.M. Best rating.
• Evaluation is lowest responsive and responsible bid; penalties for late delivery up to 1 % per day.
