Description
The National Park Service, Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks, have a requirement for fire equipment testing, maintenance, and inspection. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subpart 12.6. The government intends to award a single firm fixed price contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible Offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the government, price and other factors considered.
Some key aspects of the job include:
• Fire equipment testing, maintenance, and inspection
• Annual inspection of fire detection and notification systems
• Inspection and testing of automatic fire sprinkler systems
• Maintenance and repair of fire protection systems
• Compliance with NFPA 25 and NFPA 72 standards
