Description
The Rockdale County Board of Commissioners is requesting proposals from qualified vendors capable of preparing and delivering frozen meals that meet the Dietary Guidelines for Americans. The meals must provide at least one-third of the Recommended Daily Allowances (RDA/DRI's) for older persons 60 years and older. The successful vendor will participate in menu planning activities, provide delivery schedules and times, and complete nutritional analysis. The contract term will be one year with the option to renew for four additional one-year terms.
• The vendor must have a minimum of 5 years' experience providing frozen meal services.
• The vendor must have a current operating permit, ServSafe certification, and inspection reports.
• The vendor must submit a narrative discussing costs and revenue, and persons/units served.
• The vendor must provide financial information to demonstrate financial stability.
