Description
The Los Angeles Unified School District is seeking a qualified firm to provide district‑wide materials testing and special inspection services for construction, repair, and maintenance projects. The contract is a one‑year master task‑order agreement with two optional one‑year renewals, not to exceed $3 M in total value. The contractor must operate an LEA‑approved laboratory, supply fully‑burdened hourly rates based on prevailing‑wage determinations, and deliver testing reports and inspection documentation in accordance with ASTM, CTM, and DSA standards.
• Perform concrete, asphalt, soil, masonry, steel, and other construction material testing (both destructive and non‑destructive).
• Conduct on‑site special inspections (reinforcement, concrete placement, welds, bolting, etc.) and provide daily and final reports via DSAbox.
• Maintain a California‑registered engineering manager, qualified technical staff, and comply with labor‑compliance, prevailing‑wage, safety, and sweat‑free procurement policies.
