Silver Reclamation, Storage, and Account Maintenance Services

The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Keyport is seeking a contractor to provide silver reclamation, storage, and account maintenance services. The contractor will be responsible for refining silver-bearing material recovered from batteries to produce silver of 99.9% purity, which will be used to manufacture new batteries. The annual requirements include 328,060 troy ounces of high silver content, 582,421 troy ounces of low silver content, and 439,108 troy ounces of silver account maintenance. The contract will be a firm-fixed-price indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity contract with a five-year ordering period. • The contractor must have a current registration and completed representations and certifications in the System for Award Management (SAM). • The contractor must establish a PIEE account and obtain Proposal Manager role activation to submit offers electronically. • The applicable Product Service Code (PSC) for the requirement is P999 (Salvage – other). • The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 331492 (Secondary Smelting, Refining, and Alloying of nonferrous Metal (except Copper and Aluminum)).
