Description
The VA is conducting market research via a Sources Sought Notice to identify qualified vendors capable of supplying the ZEISS OPMI PROergo dental operating microscope and associated accessories on a nationwide, agency‑wide basis. The eventual contract is expected to be a single Requirements Contract with firm‑fixed‑price orders under FAR 16.503. Vendors must demonstrate the ability to meet specific technical requirements (magnification 2.5×–16× minimum, coaxial illumination > 90,000 lux, ergonomic design, optional imaging) and provide full solution packages, pricing, service plans, and evidence of SAM registration and, if applicable, SDVOSB/VOSB status. Responses are due by 12:00 pm EST on 16 Oct 2026.
• Requirement: Full ZEISS OPMI PROergo dental operating microscope system (including accessories, accessories kits, lighting, cameras, mounts, etc.).
• Delivery: Nationwide to VA medical centers and facilities across the United States.
• Contract type: Anticipated firm‑fixed‑price Requirements Contract (single‑award).
• Technical Minimums: ≥ 2.5× low‑end magnification, ≥ 16× high‑end, motorized focus, > 90,000 lux coaxial illumination, apochromatic optics, ergonomic arm, optional imaging.
• Mandatory vendor qualifications: Active SAM registration, NAICS 339112 certification, SDVOSB/VOSB verification if claiming socioeconomic status.
• Required response content: Company details, UEI, size/status, manufacturer/distributor info, country of origin, supply continuity plan, technical literature, service‑plan details, pricing (including tiered discounts), subcontracting opportunities, federal contract vehicles, and any restrictive specification comments.
