Description
The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Norfolk, Contracting Department, is soliciting a firm fixed-price contract for a firefighting equipment inspection service. The service includes providing condition reports on the functionality of all equipment, stating whether each item is within required operable specifications, and providing separate recommendations on equipment/material replacement. The inspection will be conducted on four vessels: TSV-1 Prevail, TSV-3 Hunter, TSV-4 Narragansett, and TSV-5 Vindicator. The contractor will be required to attend the vessels located at Little Creek Navy Base to inspect, test, and certify the fixed co2 system, portable fire extinguishers, Scott SCBA cylinders, packs, and fire hoses.
• The contract will be awarded on a sole source basis to Hiller Fire Protection.
• The contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation.
