The Michigan State Police is seeking a forensic technician to assist with intake and release of evidence, forensic imaging of computer hardware and software, and investigations into computer-related criminal activity. The selected candidate will work at the Lansing Computer Crimes Office and will be responsible for generating investigative correspondence, maintaining and updating the Michigan ICAC website, and communicating with the worksite team leader and statewide commander. The ideal candidate will have experience with forensic data recovery software suites and handling of evidence. A minimum of two years of law enforcement experience is preferred.
