Description
The Executive Office of Technology Services and Security is seeking a Configuration Management Database (CMDB) Professional Services provider to establish a robust CMDB within ServiceNow. The CMDB will serve as the authoritative source of truth for the IT environment, providing visibility and alignment across multiple service disciplines. The selected provider will lead and guide this program, ensuring alignment with industry best practices, ITIL v4, and the agency's strategic IT objectives. Key responsibilities include designing and configuring CI classes, relationships, and dependencies, overseeing discovery, integrations, and reconciliation with key systems, and creating dashboards, reports, and executive-level views for infrastructure health and service dependencies.
• The CMDB will provide visibility and alignment across multiple service disciplines, including S/W and H/W Asset Management, Service Desk, ServiceNow, Network and Security Operations, Server and Storage Support, Operating Systems (OS) Support, Infrastructure Monitoring, Backup Services, and Disaster Recovery (DR) Services.
• The provider will lead and guide the CMDB program, ensuring alignment with industry best practices, ITIL v4, and the agency's strategic IT objectives.
• The provider will design and configure CI classes, relationships, and dependencies to support accurate service mapping.
• The provider will oversee discovery, integrations, and reconciliation with key systems, including ServiceNow, ServiceDesk, Armis, HP Workforce Experience, Monitoring, Network/Security, Backup, DR, and other systems/teams.
